The Project
The Challenge
Topps Tiles’ store colleagues were becoming frustrated with their incumbent uniform provider due to garment inconsistency and poor quality. With the wellbeing of their people front of mind, Topps Tiles enlisted the expertise of the Murray Uniforms team to take their uniform to the next stage for the brand whilst satisfying the requirements of the store colleagues.
Why what you wear matters
Topps Tiles knew the key to rolling out a new uniform programme was going to be a fully managed service that engaged the store staff. As the main driver for the uniform change was to ensure the team had a well-made, fit for purpose uniform that supported the brand, getting maximum staff engagement throughout the design process was going to be crucial.
Feedback is crucial
Murray undertook a number of store visits to discuss the existing uniform range with staff and sought insights into the key issues that were driving the complaints. Feedback was then used to determine the functionality and specification of the final garments.
Make it you
The new garment range comprises cargo trousers, shorts, polo shirt, soft shell jacket, bib apron plus a range of ladies and men’s footwear and gloves. 12 months after we rolled out the new Topps Tiles uniform range, they are receiving zero noise on their uniform programme and staff satisfaction is at an all-time high, with an outstanding NPS score of +91 amongst uniform wearers.
