Who we are

Our Commitment

True commitment to CSR requires 100% engagement

At Murray we take our corporate social responsibilities as a supplier and employer seriously. You will find CSR at the very core of each aspect of our business from ethical sourcing to ensuring employee well-being.

Ethical sourcing

World class manufacturing, world class service

Our dedicated Supply Chain team work rigorously to ensure the ethical procurement and manufacturing of the highest quality garments for our clients. We are members of the world’s largest collaborative platform for sharing responsible sourcing data on supply chains, Sedex. This ensures we can see, in real time, all audits across all of our manufacturing facilities.
The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code is an internationally recognised set of labour standards based on International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions. It is used by ETI members and others to drive improvements in the working conditions around the world.

The key aspects of the ETI Base Code for employees to be aware of is:

  5. Living wages are paid
  6. Working hours are not excessive
  7. No discrimination is practised

Environmental Impact

Murray’s environmental goal – ZERO to landfill

At Murray, no end-of-life products we receive back from our clients goes to landfill. We operate a secure and traceable recycling scheme, with our preferred route is to re-use the material for future manufacturing of other textile products.

Employee wellbeing

Wellbeing is the main driver for engagement

The physical and mental well-being of our staff are paramount to our business. We put our people first and work with them directly to understand their individual needs, as well as companywide programmes, such as Employees of the Quarter. We also provide an onsite gymnasium, taking the stress out of rushing to the gym after work.
